PALS plays a role in helping to provide programming for the elementary schools’ weekly “integrated activities” (IAT) program conducted by the librarian and the art, music, and PE teachers and for the Enrichment activities that happen in three-week blocks at the junior high school.
Teachers: Please click the link to download a list of local artists (Word doc—includes contact information and their specialties). Click the link for a list of Wyoming Arts Council Roster Artists. Please click the link to download a copy of the interactive grant request form (Word doc). Instructions on how to submit the application are included on the form. Grant requests are reviewed on a rolling basis. Please allow 2 weeks for approval (it often takes less time).
Please click the link for the evaluation form. A completed evaluation form must be submitted before payment can be processed.
Process:
Artist and teacher get together to brainstorm ideas in a planning session.
If they decide to go forward, the teacher will complete the Grant Request Form and return it to PALS.
PALS will approve or decline the request within 2 weeks (usually sooner).
The artist then conducts the workshop and takes photos for PALS.
The teacher submits the completed evaluation form to PALS.
PALS requests payment for the artist (a process that can take up to 4 weeks, because it's paid by the school district).
